Doesn't work with "Redout" [2016] please fix?

Hello good sirs/madams,

This game, "Redout" came out recently and I really want to play it, but I do not like XBOX controllers and only use my old DualShock 2 hooked up via USB adapter, but x360ce doesn't seem to work with Redout so now I can't play

I would appreciate any insight or if anyone else has tried it etc.
