Can I rename the dinput8.dll file to something else and how?

I'm trying to get x360ce to work with Dark Souls 1's DSFix mod, which has its own DINPUT8.dll file. Dark Souls 1 requires the dinput spoofer, and since I have DSFix, I need to rename it to be able to chain it with it.

How can I make it so x360ce still recognizes the renamed file ?
